It’s Sunday, so I like to make my makeup a quick and easy affair that looks nice and fresh. So here’s a quick round up of my ‘Face of the Day’ for today:
Base: Rimmel London BB Cream (as featured in this post) to add a bit of moisture and to even out my skin tone.
Concealer: Clarins Instant Concealer (as featured in this post) to cover some of my many blemishes and not forgetting those dark under-eye circles!
Brows: Benefit Brow Zings in Light and Maybelline Brow Drama in Clear. I use the clear brow gel to brush my brows into place and then I use my trusty Benefit Brow Zings to fill in some of the gaps I have and even out the colour. This product has literally been going for the last 3 years and I am no where near done!
Blush: Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Pink. I stayed at my boyfriends last night so I am always looking for all my miniature products to eliminate how much I have to take with me. This was a sample sized blush that gives a lovely rosy glow to the cheeks and it also helps this makeup look to require no make up brushes as I use my fingers to apply it!
Eyes: Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold (as featured in this post) , Maybelline Master Drama Cream Eyeliner Pencil in Ultra Violet/Deep Purple, Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. The colour tattoos are relatively new to me even though they have been out for quite a while now. This colour is just the perfect colour for days like today. It’s subtle, easy to apply and requires no brushes. Winner! I’ve also recently started to experiment with eyeliners that aren’t black! This dark purple one by maybelline is perfect for a subtle hint of colour without looking like we’re back in the 90’s! Finally, the Urban Decay Perversion mascara was included in the Naked on the Run Palette and I really like it. It can take a few coats to built up but that means you can choose how subtle or dramatic you would like your mascara to look. Here’s what the Maybelline colour tattoo looks like on the lids as requested by Coffee & Curls With Kiki . Please excuse my dodgy skin, I plan to avoid actual photos of myself on this blog as much as I can!!
Lips: Laura Mercier Creme Coral Lipstick (as featured in this post), Laura Mercier Pot Pourri Lip Liner, Clarin Instant Light Lip Balm in Rose (as featured in this post). The Lipstick and the lip liner both featured in Laura Mercier’s Pink Spark Lip Trio Christmas set and are a lovely colour for both day and night. The colour match between them is great so it creates a lovely full look to the lips! Although the lipstick leaves a bit of a subtle sheen anyway, today I fancied a little bit more gloss so I applied a little of the Clarins lip balm to the centre to make my lips look a little fuller.
So there you have it. What do you think to the products used in this look? What do you like to wear on your face on a Sunday?
P.s A big thank you to my boyfriend for helping me improve the appearance of my blog! It’s starting to look a little bit more like I imagined now!!
