I genuinely cannot believe it is now the end of April! Where on earth is the year going?! This month I haven’t made many new beauty discoveries however I have been trying to finish a few old things off so I thought I would include them instead and I may throw in a few non-beauty favourites for good measure!
Jimmy Choo EDT I have been a lover of the Jimmy Choo perfumes for quite a while now but I actually prefer the EDP of this rather than the EDT. I was bought this by mistake so I am just finishing it up now as it is perfect from spring and summer as it is so light and easy to wear. I really hate heavy perfumes so this is ideal at the moment.
Clarins Instant SmoothWe all know I am a lover of pretty much anything that has the word ‘Clarins’ on it and I do like this product too. It is kind of like a primer as you put it on underneath makeup to smooth out any fine lines. It has quite a silicone feel to it but I do like it and a little goes a very long way with this!
Carmex Lip BalmThis is just a wonder product for your lips, I’ve never been a huge fan of Vaseline as I find it a bit greasy but this is non-greasy and has a nice herbal scent to it which I love but my boyfriend absolutely hates! This tub has lasted me forever and it really does save the day when it comes to chapped lips! I’ve been using this more since I’m running out of my Clarins lip balm and need to make it last!
Tangle Teezer
Where would I be without this magical device?! Probably bald! This is the best brush/comb product that I have ever owned and makes brushing my hair an absolute doddle. I love this purple glitter one but I have had it a while now so perhaps it’s time to invest in a new one. This makes my hair look so much healthier as I don’t have as many split ends compared to using a normal brush or comb.
Topshop Lilac Jumper and Cigarette Trousers
I have been wearing this combo so much this month, I think people are starting to get bored of seeing it! This lovely lilac jumper was one of Topshop’s seasonal sale items so I think it was only £25.00 and the trousers were £38.00 I believe. They are so comfy to wear yet still quite stylish and the trouser allow you to keep cool on the warmer days yet still manage to provide a little warmth when it is cooler. The weather is so unpredictable in the UK that this outfit has been my go-to for those ‘is it hot? is it cold?’ kind of days.
Films:
- Escape Plan
- The 100 year old man who climbed out the window and disappeared
- I give it a year
My boyfriend and I recently purchased Amazon Prime as I get it cheaper as a student. Those are the films we have watched this month and really enjoyed. Escape plan is an action thriller which centres around a man being sent into prisons to see if they are escape proof. It’s a really good film that is very easy to watch! The next one is a Swedish film with english subtitles (not as bad as it sounds!!) and is so light hearted and very funny. It’s quite a feel good film and I throughly enjoyed it! The final film is a British Rom Com that again is great to watch when you want something that won’t require a lot of concentration! Very funny and easy to watch!
Sorry there wasn’t a lot of exciting stuff this month, maybe i’ve just been pretty boring this April! What are your favourites this month? Have you got any good film suggestions for us?
Much Love
xoxo

Clarins is a brand I’m going to try out soon! And I have the exact tangle teezer. It helps when you have long hair like I do! That lilac jumper and pants combo is pretty. Wear it as often as you like!

You need to try out clarins, it’s one of my faves! Thank you, I’ve refrained from wearing it today so I don’t look like I only have one outfit 😉

Oh gosh me too – I had long curly hair that was an absolute nightmare to brush/wash/do anything with. The pain we go through for lovely locks eh?! SO many tears could’ve been avoided indeed lol xxx

I need to just give the tangle teaser a try. My wavy hair gets so knotted up, especially when it’s damp.
