Here we are at Sunday again and I honestly can’t believe the weeks are flying by so fast! I am honestly failing at this blogmas thing but you will get all 25 posts even if they are by the end of December not by the 25th! I love this build up to Christmas but it always seem to just whiz by and then it’s the January slump and exams that are looming! As planned i’m updating you on everything I got in my two calendars from the 5th to the 11th of December. There’s been some goodun’s so lets check it out:
Look Fantastic – Moroccanoil Treatment (25ml)
Blogger – Holographic Tweezer Set from Ps..
I love any kind of treatment oil for my hair as it’s something I use every single time I wash it! Moroccanoil is a salon used brand too so i’m really excited to give this a try. I’ve heard so many good things about it and this 25ml bottle is a pretty generous size for me to give it a go. Despite having really long and thick hair oil does last me an age as I don’t have to wash my hair too frequently. You can actually buy this size to try which is great and it retails for a generous £13.45, good day for Look Fantastic! In my blogger calendar I got a set of tweezers, now I’ve never had the ones that are really really small at the end so I’m looking forward to trying those out to see if they make a difference!
Look Fantastic – MonuSkin Illuminating Primer (25ml)
Bloggers – Ps… Manuka Honey Hydrating Hand Cream
Now I’m gonna say that I think this is pretty damn shit from Look Fantastic as my bottle is about a third full. That is just insultingly ridiculous when you are paying £70 for an advent calendar! The full size is apparently 50ml but if this bottle is anywhere near actually being 25ml i’ll eat my hat. If it was it’s worth £15 but I highly doubt that, theres no pump on the bottle either so I’m a bit disappointed with this one but you always have to have filler days I guess. From my blogger calendar I got a gorgeous hand cream that smells absolutely divine! I love handcreams in those metallic tubes as you can really squeeze all the product out. This will be popped into my handbag straight away.
Look Fantastic – NudeStix Lip & Cheek Pencil in Mystic
Bloggers – Essence Mosaic Blush in All You Need is Pink
I’ve never tried Nude Stix but I’ve heard loads of good things about the brand. This is a lip and cheek pencil in a lovely dusty rose shade. This retails for £24 which is a bit crazy for a pencil so i’m intrigued to see if it lives up to the price. From Jay I got an essence blush which is a brand i’ve never tried before. The colour is very me and for a drugstore brand I really like the simple packaging. I can’t wait to give this a try and give you my thoughts.
Look Fantastic – Ren Revitalising Night Cream (15ml)
Blogger – M&S Beauty Festive Foam Bath
I have really liked the REN products that I’ve tried so i’m hoping this will be the same. I couldn’t actually find this on the Look Fantastic website which is a bit odd but I am looking forward to trying it regardless. It’s a generous size that is thankfully full so either Mum or I will get some good use out of this. I told Jay I love bubble baths so I was so happy to see this in the calendar. It’s so cute and festive and as soon as I’ve taken the picture, this will be going straight by my bath to use up in the run up to the big day.
Look Fantastic – Ojon Damage Reverse Hair Serum (15ml)
Blogger – Yankee Candle Peach Smoothie Votive
My hair is one of those where it always looks a bit damaged unless you straighten it. I try and avoid heat if I can as I know the frizziness will eventually go off the scale from damage. I am so intrigued to try this on the ends of my hair to see if it makes a difference! If it does it could definitely be one of those that gets purchased in full size! Now I’m not really a candle person, but i’m slowly trying to get myself into them if I can. I like clean fresh scents and this Peach Smoothie candle smells gorgeous! I can’t wait to give it a try and see what I think to it!
Look Fantastic – Ardell Demi Wispies False Lashes
Blogger – Technic Mega Nudes 3 Palette
Now I had my eye on these as soon as the door was opened but so does my mum so I think she’ll get these as she doesn’t wear false lashes and I’ve actually tried these before. I think the style will really suit her too but I thought this was an amazing addition to the palette! They don’t retail for crazy money at only £4.95 but I think its great they’ve included them! From my blogger calendar I got a nude eyeshadow palette from the brand Technic who are a brand I’ve tried in the past but not for a very long time so I’m intrigued to see what they’re like!
Look Fantastic – Christophe Robin Regenerating Hair Mask (50ml)
Blogger – Cadburys Chocolate Snowman
This is an expensive product full size, £53 for 250ml! Wowsers! My hair needs some serious regenerating so I am so looking forward to trying this! This sample alone retails for £10.60 and I think even with my long hair I should be able to get at least 3 uses out of it. This could be one mum and I share as we both love a hair mask though! I have seen this brand a couple of times but never really heard much about it so I’ll give you an update on what I think! Finally from my blogging calendar, a little bit more chocolate! What a nice little treat to end the week on! 14 more days to go on the advent calendars and so far i’m impressed with both!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this weeks round-up! I promise i’m going to try and catch up with some more Blogmas posts but who know’s when they’re actually going up! I’ve turned into a bit of a Blogmas disaster! What’s your favourite product from this week?
